Supplement manufacturer certification checker

Type a company name or website. We check it against the 754 manufacturers we list from NSF’s public NSF/ANSI 455 listing, Health Canada’s public list of natural health product site licences and Informed Manufacturer’s public list of certified facilities. A match shows which list the company is on and when we last checked it; confirm on the issuer’s own list before you rely on it.

What this checks

Our most recent registry check: October 6, 2026.

If you can’t find a company

Ask the manufacturer, in writing, for the exact certification name, the certificate or licence number, and the address of the site that will make your product. Certifications apply to specific sites, so check that address against the issuer’s list. Our guide walks through each step: How to verify a manufacturer’s certification.

Common questions

How do I check if a supplement manufacturer is GMP certified?

Search the certifier’s or regulator’s own public list: NSF’s public NSF/ANSI 455 listing and Health Canada’s public list of natural health product site licences. This checker searches our copy of those lists in one place; confirm on the issuer’s list before relying on a result.

What does it mean if a company isn’t found?

Only that it isn’t in our directory. We list companies with a manufacturing or packaging site on the registries we check, so a company can be certified under another name, at a site we don’t list, or by a body we don’t read.

How current is the data?

Each listing shows when we last checked it against the registry. Our most recent check was October 6, 2026. Registries change between checks, so confirm current status with the issuer.

Does a certification cover everything a company makes?

Not necessarily. Certifications apply to specific sites, so ask which site will make your product and check that site’s address against the listing.

Is Informed Manufacturer a GMP certification?

No. Informed Manufacturer certifies facilities against its own program, which is not a GMP audit, and we label it that way everywhere.
