How we verify
Every company in this directory is listed because we found it on a public certification registry. This page explains which registries we use, what our “Verified” label means, and its limits.
Registries we check
- Today: NSF’s public listing for NSF/ANSI 455 GMP certification, covering 455-2 (dietary supplements), 455-3 (cosmetics) and 455-4 (over-the-counter drugs). Latest check: Oct 5, 2026, 697 companies with a manufacturing or packaging facility.
- Coming next: FDA establishment registrations, Health Canada site licences, and Australia’s TGA manufacturing licences. These are not yet reflected on any listing.
What we record
For each certified facility we record its address, whether it is a manufacturing, packaging or distribution site, the operations and product categories listed by the certifier, and the date we checked. Facilities are grouped under the company that holds the certification. When the facility is operated under a different name (for example a contract manufacturer making a brand’s products) the profile shows that name.
Dosage forms (gummies, capsules, tablets and so on) come from the product categories on each facility’s NSF/ANSI 455-2 certificate scope. A company appears on a dosage-form page only if at least one of its certified facilities lists that form.
What “Verified” means, and what it doesn’t
- It means we found the company on the certifier’s public listing on the date shown on its profile.
- It does not mean we audited the facility, tested products, or endorse the company. Certifiers audit facilities; we report what they publish.
- Certification applies to specific facilities. Make sure the facility that will make your product is the one that is certified.
- Paid placement changes where a listing appears, never what we report about its certification.
How often we re-check
We re-run the registry check periodically and update each profile’s “checked” date when we do. Certifications can lapse or change between checks, so confirm current status on the certifier’s site before you sign a contract.
Reporting an error
If a listing is wrong or out of date, tell us what to fix. If it is your company, find it in the directory and use “Claim this listing” to correct it yourself once we have confirmed you work there.
