Supplement trends: directory capability snapshot
These counts show how many companies in this directory match selected supplement capabilities. They describe our evidence coverage, not sales, consumer demand, production capacity or market growth. A time series would be needed to measure changes over time.
Capability coverage in the directory
Counts use the same matching rules as the linked hubs and refresh with the directory cache, normally within 24 hours. Each company is counted once within a capability, but can appear in several rows. Do not add rows to obtain a unique company total.
| Capability | Listed companies |
|---|---|
| Vitamin manufacturers | 147 |
| Protein powder manufacturers | 114 |
| Probiotic manufacturers | 103 |
| Mushroom supplement manufacturers | 81 |
| Collagen manufacturers | 58 |
| Creatine manufacturers | 31 |
| Pre-workout manufacturers | 31 |
| Pet supplement manufacturers | 28 |
What these counts can tell a buyer
A larger count gives you more directory listings to investigate for that capability. Open the hub to inspect the evidence and shortlist companies that fit your dosage form, location and certification requirements. Ask each company to confirm current availability and the site that would make your product.
What they cannot tell you about supplement trends
This is a cross-sectional snapshot, not a growth chart. A company can enter a category because we added a registry, found a website statement or improved matching. Counts do not measure market share, search demand, product sales or available production capacity.
Capability matches can come from a relevant registry record or a company’s own website statement. Registry certification and website capabilities remain separate evidence types on the linked profiles. A category match does not independently verify every claimed capability. See our methodology before using these figures.
Common questions
Do more listings mean a faster-growing supplement market?
No. Counts reflect the directory’s coverage and available registry or company website evidence. They do not measure product sales, demand or growth.
